Stepjump & Ace Africa - 13th January 2011

ACE Africa provides support to orphans and vulnerable children infected and affected by HIV and AIDS in remote rural areas of East Africa. It is a relatively small but very effective charity, and out of over 700 applicants was the Africa Middle East winner of the 2010 STARS Foundation Impact Award for excellence in community health projects. Stepjump Design have been supporting ACE Africa for a couple of years now, but last year we were able to help even more by providing free design work for their flagship fundraising event at the Delfina event in London. We recently received this nice message of thank-you and support from the UK director.

"On behalf of everyone at ACE Africa, a huge thank you to Peter Butler and Stepjump Design, for the  tremendous support with all of our design work. The highly professional and creative marketing material that Stepjump has produced for ACE has been an invaluable support, and has helped us improve our image considerably.

Stepjump Design has assisted ACE Africa in the design of Logos, Invitations, Event brochures, Sponsorship proposals, Corporate flyers, Banners and Advertisements.  Like many small charities, ACE Africa does not have the funds to pay for this work commercially, and we are extremely grateful for the ongoing support that Stepjump Design generously provide.
This pro-bono support means that we are able to raise our profile and raise more funds to support more AIDS orphans and vulnerable children in East Africa.

Peter Butler is an absolute pleasure to work with and is always amazingly patient, responsive, professional, creative and always provides work of the highest quality.

Thank you so much! "

Ahead of the Curve - 22nd October 2010

Sudbury Arts Centre, part of Sudbury Upper School, has just launched its new name, and logo. The logo is the result of an exciting collaboration with Stepjump Design. Creative Director Peter Butler formulated a design brief to give to students within the school who volunteered to create some initial rough concepts, and ideas for names. A 'winning' idea was selected, and then Peter worked up the rough into a professional looking logo and identity. Stepjump also provided a new website for the Arts Centre, which can be viewed here. The website is fully content manageable and updatable by the Arts Centre staff.

Pie in the Sky - 13th October 2010

Stepjump Design are delighted to support the East Anglian Air Ambulance with some illustration work in support of their new fundraising book "Pie in The Sky". The book contains recipes supplied by competition winners and celebrities. The illustration will be used on POS material to support the book sales. More information about the book here.

If the cap fits... - 20th June 2010

Early in 2009 MD Peter Butler was asked a favour - to design a new logo for the re-emerging Milden Cricket Club in deepest Suffolk. He gladly obliged, and provided the logo. End of story. Then, in 2010, after being invited to the Annual Club dinner and awards night, Peter was finally re-united with the logo, and presented by the Club Chairman (who also happens to be his father) with an embroidered club cap. Peter said "it was great to see the logo being used and utilised, and it's nice to support a local sports club, it's certainly the case that my design skills are much better than my cricket skills"
